You don't have to fix it since people can go back and sort all by a different field, but I don't see any use for sorting the table on a page-by-page basis as opposed to overall.

Using the link above or finding the same data for men's or women's basketball individually, clicking on "Gold" sorts the most gold-medals at the top for some, but others (Dwight Howard, Michael Redd, and others on the Redeem Team included), they are banished to the second page behind people with 0 Gold, 0 Silver, 2 Bronze on the first page.

Clicking the headers should re-sort the entire field, but instead, it only re-orders that page and makes the user click through the others yet.
