2010 WNBA Statistics

Posted by Justin Kubatko on February 1, 2011

I know this took me way too long to get to, but I finally updated the WNBA section of the site with the 2010 statistics. My apologies to all of the WNBA fans out there. I will try to get his updated in a more timely manner after the conclusion of the 2011 season.

While not a huge follower of women's basketball, it's great to know that there is a resource out there for those who are. I've found it really sad that ESPN doesn't maintain individual player profile pages for women's college basketball. And I have used the WNBA statistics site to find out who some of the best players in that league have been over the years. Rebecca Lobo's pro career was definitely overrated.

Lobo's career was derailed by knee problems. She was showing signs of turning into a pretty good player before that.

Thanks for setting me straight Pilight! This is what happens quite often when someone ventures an opinion on something they have very little actual knowledge of.

Ah, finally, thanks! :) I can never get enough basketball stats. I just kinda wished there was more attention for the WNBA, so that following it would be more fun.

At least you didn't make it front page news for a whole week.
