Over at Hoopdata, Tom Haberstroh has a cool Google Motion chart of players' individual offensive ratings and usage rates over the past decade. It's especially fun to follow the bouncing Iverson and Kobe on the far right side of the graph...

    Thanks for the link, Neil. Don't forget to play around with the other variables on the axes. I think that's the real power of the tool.

    For instance, PER vs. Age. Select Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. Press play.

    Put Rajon Rondo and Kobe Bryant on the graph with Usg and PER, or Off Rating and PER and it is surprising how similar they trend
